About Brenda

A lover of life and people, Brenda relishes challenge and adventure and believes that living all of our gifts simultaneously and loving doing so, is the epitome of life.

Brenda Davies

Having been born and raised in County Durham, England, I then spent many years living and working in Zambia, which I always considered my spiritual home.  There, for some years, I lived on Empilweni Farm with a loving, thriving, harmonious community of Zambian people, many of whom were orphans when they arrived, and who became my extended family. I thought I could never settle anywhere else in the world, but now, in Wales I feel equally at home.  I also lived and worked for some years in the USA.  I still travel, though much less than I used to, since the School, once in nine countries, is now focussed mainly in UK and Europe. However, in 2020 we may be opening in Rome and Croatia.  Watch this space!

My Mission

Though I have enjoyed spiritual and healing gifts since childhood, my academic education and professional training took me along the path to becoming a Physician and Consultant Psychiatrist.  I believe that we can take command of our own health and well-being; that most of us can achieve a state of positive health – mind, body and soul – rather than just an absence of disease;  that we are masters of our fate and that to abdicate the responsibility for ourselves is tantamount to betraying who we really are. My joy is to combine both the orthodox and complementary approaches in a marriage that is, I believe, the most effective way of achieving all round good health and positivity.  It’s my honour and privilege to share whatever gifts I have, in whatever way I can, and be a fellow traveller for a while with  those who are in dis-ease with any aspect of their lives, whether physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological,  social or occupational.  Relationships with ourselves and others can often be transformed and we find ourselves firmly on the path to becoming the best that we can be.

The measure of our greatness is in how we stand up after we fall.
